A writing workflow that actually sticks.
A reliable process makes writing easier without making every article feel identical.
Collect the raw material first
Open a notes document before your drafting window. Save genuine reader questions, examples, useful observations, and sources worth revisiting. The goal is to spend less time staring at an empty page.
Outline around the reader's journey
Start with the question they arrived with. Follow with the explanation or steps they actually need. Use subheadings as signposts, not decoration. If a section doesn't move the answer forward, remove it.
Draft without polishing every sentence
Write a complete version before making small word choices. A draft shows where the logic is weak. Editing individual phrases too early can hide a missing argument or an important example.
Use two passes when editing
In the first pass, check accuracy, structure and usefulness. In the second, shorten long sentences, improve transitions, and read the opening aloud. Add descriptive image text and test each link before publishing.
